Reboot, Pastor Randy Reed, Feb 13, 2011

– His ways are not my ways…just deal with it
Isa. 55:8-9, James 1:5-8 (NKJV & The Message) – if (and I know you do)…
– don’t be a worrier
– if lack wisdom . . . you might need a reboot
– let your yes be yes and your no be no (Matt. 5:33-37, 12:36)
– if you lack integrity . . . you might need a reboot (Rom. 12:1-2 NKJV & The Message)
– if you lack direction and focus . . . you might need a reboot

How do I reboot?
– power down – repent, turn around, do a 180
– let go of the cord long enough to let God renew you
– power up (fresh start). start anew today
– talk to God who wrote your unique program code
– restore – bring back to an orignal state
– might need to replace some hardware/software
– restoring always takes longer than rebooting
Ezekiel 36. 26-27
– hurts, lies, and broken promises, may hurt you, but it doesn’t have to define you
John 10:10 – God can restore you back to the original
– we don’t deserve it, but it’s built into the code God wrote for you
– perhaps God is wanting to do something in you

Re-alignment, Part 4, Feb 6, 2011

Matt 6:1-34
– (v.21) wherever you want your heart to be, put your treasure there
– (v.19) do not store up treasures for yourself here on earth
– if that’s where your treasure is, that’s where your heart is, and that’s all you get
– the secret to happiness, is not more, but it’s contentment
1 Tim. 6:6 “Godliness with contentment is great gain”
Luke 16:1-13
– you can use your material things now for eternal purposes
– Joseph in the Old Testament was given wisdom to save an entire nation, not just his family
– treasure and your heart can only be in one place at a time
– having a good eye will be generosity and single-mindedness
Matt 6:33 – we can’t serve two masters at the same time
– we must have a good eye, not an evil eye
